About this course

This webinar is essential for any teacher new, or returning, to teaching Year 6, including ECTs. Delegates will explore the statutory requirements for assessing children’s attainment in the core subjects at Key Stage 2 this year and unpick the processes, including key dates and regulations. Areas discussed will include the processes involved in administering SATs tests, including guidance on access arrangements, and key points on forming teacher assessment judgements. (NB teacher assessment of writing will be explored further in the subsequent session ‘Success in Year 6: Writing including moderation’.)
