This course provides a thorough introduction to the key risks and essential control measures involved in working at height within school settings. It offers clear, practical guidance to help staff plan, manage, and carry out work at height activities safely and confidently.
Participants will explore the regulations and expectations that govern work at height, alongside how to complete suitable and proportionate risk assessments. The course also covers the inspection and safe use of ladders and stepladders, including how to select the most appropriate access equipment for different tasks.
Additional considerations are provided for situations that require accessing low school roofs, ensuring staff understand how to approach these scenarios safely and in line with recommended procedures.
