About this course
Terrific Talkers is a programme designed to strengthen practitioners’ interactions within the EYFS to underpin the following statement made in the EYFS statutory Framework, "The development of children’s spoken language underpins all seven areas of learning and development. Children’s back-and-forth interactions from an early age form the foundations for language and cognitive development. The number and quality of the conversations they have with adults and peers throughout the day in a language-rich environment is crucial. “ The Statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2025). This session will introduce you to the programme and how it can help you to develop communication and language skills for all children in your setting.
