About this course

This termly online briefing is designed specifically for Behaviour and Pastoral Leads, with a strong focus on supporting positive behaviour within educational settings. The session provides up‑to‑date information on current guidance, alongside relevant local and national updates that impact behaviour and pastoral practice. Participants will explore practical strategies to support children and young people effectively, promote consistency across settings, and respond to emerging behavioural needs. The briefing also highlights available training opportunities to support ongoing professional development and signposts further support where appropriate. In addition, the session offers valuable opportunities for networking, enabling Behaviour and Pastoral Leads to share experiences, reflect on challenges and learn from colleagues working in similar roles. Content is refreshed each term to ensure it remains current, relevant and responsive to sector developments.
