About this course

Talking Heads on Tour is a new, fully funded professional learning offer for primary headteachers and senior leaders across Hertfordshire. Delivered through six half termly sessions, combining online and in person opportunities, the programme showcases interesting and inspirational practice from across our family of schools. Delegates will hear directly from school leaders who are innovating and leading change in their own contexts, gaining first hand insight into what is working and why. Each session will be focused on a theme and will provide structured opportunities to ask questions, reflect on key messages, and engage in professional dialogue with peers from other schools. The programme is designed to support collaboration, shared learning and system leadership, enabling participants to connect practice, challenge thinking and consider how ideas might be adapted within their own settings.

  • explore innovative practice shared by Hertfordshire school leaders across varied contexts

  • reflect on how innovative approaches can be adapted and applied within own school settings

  • engage in dialogue with peers to deepen understanding of leadership practice

  • question and challenge thinking by discussing key priorities shaping education locally

  • improve outcomes for pupils
