About this course

This course supports educators working with Post‑16 learners to strengthen the quality, confidence and consistency of their RSHE and Personal Development provision. It explores challenges that arise when delivering RSHE to Post-16, including varied readiness, sensitive content and the need to keep sessions inclusive, engaging and age‑appropriate. The session focuses on creating safe and respectful learning environments, encouraging thoughtful discussion and adapting content to meet diverse needs and experiences. Participants will explore practical approaches to planning, sequencing and delivering RSHE, as well as how to embed it within a broader PD framework in line with statutory guidance and recognised best practice. By the end of the session, attendees will feel more confident addressing complex topics, responding to student feedback and shaping a coherent RSHE offer that supports wellbeing, healthy relationships, personal safety and informed decision‑making.
