The termly Primary Assessment Briefings provide primary leaders, particularly those responsible for assessment, with timely updates, reminders and insight into national developments. Each one‑hour session reflects the primary assessment calendar and topical issues, including key DfE messages or wider assessment priorities. As appropriate, sessions will cover areas including national and local outcomes and emerging themes, updates to IDSR, ASP and other data tools. We will also explore key moderation messages, formative assessment, Ofsted and updates to statutory assessment guidance. As more information becomes available regarding national changes arising from the Curriculum and Assessment Review, these will also be discussed.
