  • If booking multiple places, the booking should be made by the designated Booking Manager for the school / setting

This two part webinar provides a clear introduction to the core elements of school finance. Session One – Core School Finance Operations This fastpaced session covers key financial responsibilities, including managing school bank accounts, understanding funding streams, processing purchases, overseeing salary and payroll related spend, and accurately recording financial transactions such as Consistent Financial Reporting (CFR). Session Two – Budgeting & Financial Planning This session explores the foundations of school budgeting and medium term financial planning, covering core budgeting concepts, school changes that affect finances, the purpose and process of budget monitoring, and the financial calendar for Hertfordshire maintained schools.
