About this course

This course supports primary mathematics subject leaders to stay informed, strategic and feeling confident in their role. Leaders will receive up‑to‑date information and guidance from the DfE, Ofsted and wider national and local developments and explore implications for school practice. Each session promotes ongoing professional learning, helping leaders prioritise key actions, make effective strategic decisions and plan across the academic year. Participants will explore practical ideas to strengthen classroom provision, enhance teaching approaches and maximise pupil outcomes. The course also offers guidance on supporting colleagues through monitoring, feedback and collaborative development. Leaders benefit from a professional forum to discuss challenges, share strategies and engage with peers and HFL Education primary maths advisers in a supportive, expert-led environment.
