For individuals booking a single personal space on this course
This online CPD supports teachers and leaders who are new to ESSENTIALSPELLING, as well as those wishing to refresh their understanding of the programme. The training focuses on the Year 3 and Year 4 plans, which can also be used effectively in mixed‑age classes. The webinar will equip staff with a clear understanding of how to use the plans and resources to support all pupils, regardless of their phonics or spelling attainment. The CPD includes a 90‑minute pre‑recorded session exploring Key Stage 2 phonics and spelling pedagogy and outlining the principles of the scheme. A further 90‑minute live webinar examines the Year 3 and 4 resources in more depth and considers how to make the most of the planning. Delegates will also have time to ask questions. Both sessions will be available via the Hub dashboard for the duration of the 26–27 academic year. Please note that the ESSENTIALSPELLING resource is not included and must be purchased separately.
