About this course

How to Successfully Return the Primary End of Key Stage Using SIMS is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to efficiently manage and return key stage data using SIMS (School Information Management System). By the end of this course, participants will be able to: import Key Stage Wizards into SIMS ; enter Marks into the relevant marksheets; run Statutory end of key stage Reports; export CTFs from SIMS for submission; upload Submissions to the Local Authority and the DfE; and explore frequently asked questions and common problems.

  • to understand how to import and utilise key stage wizards within SIMS to streamline data entry processes

  • to be able to accurately enter marks and assessment data for pupils, ensuring all statutory information is correctly recorded

  • to be able to generate the statutory reports required to send to parents/carers

  • to be able to export Common Transfer Files (CTFs) from SIMS for smooth, secure and accurate data transfer the local authority and the DfE

  • to be able to successfully upload key stage data submissions to the local authority and the DfE, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
