A course specifically developed for Reception and Y1 practitioners, built around planning, teaching and assessment of small group reading. Would you like support around how to deliver effective guided reading in an impactful, challenging and yet age-appropriate way for both Reception and Year 1 children?
This thought-provoking CPD, delivered in partnership between the Primary English and EY teams, explores effective strategies based on the latest research around high-quality early reading and phonics. It will support you in ensuring that children secure the building blocks of early reading skills through supportive and inspirational workshop activities. You will feel empowered to adapt the implementation of your reading curriculum which will strengthen children’s outcomes whilst also sustaining a joy for reading at an early age.
