About this course

This three-part course is aimed at inspiring and developing teachers who are either newer to science subject leadership or looking to develop their leadership of science. Over the three sessions, delegates will gain an in depth understanding of the role of science leader and develop the skills and knowledge to lead with confidence. The science curriculum will be unpicked to explore sequencing and progression in both subject knowledge and working scientifically skills. A range of effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies will be showcased to enable subject leaders to deepen their subject-specific knowledge, pedagogy and understanding. You will also have the chance to network with other local science subject leaders.
