About this course

This course invites leaders and practitioners to take a thoughtful, in‑depth look at their EYFS curriculum intent and the way their environment and practice support a clear progression of skills. Through guided reflection and practical exploration, you will examine how well your provision responds to the evolving needs of your cohort and how effectively it enables children to rehearse, embed, and apply what they have been taught. You will leave with greater clarity, stronger professional confidence, and a more compelling narrative about the choices you make for your children—grounded in evidence, purpose, and a deep understanding of progression in the early years.

  • consider how provision might evolve to maximise outcomes

  • strengthen understanding of ways to plan for progression

  • explore ways to ensure opportunities to practise and apply taught skills

  • develop confidence in articulating the rationale for activities and enhancements
