About this course

This workshop offers practical support for schools using Access Budgeting software. The morning session provides an update on recent changes, followed by a walkthrough of the budget planning process to help delegates navigate key stages with confidence. Participants will explore the areas to consider when preparing the 2027/2028 budget and forecasting for 2028/2029 and 2029/2030. The session also includes an overview of the latest budget information from HCC to support accurate planning. During the afternoon, Financial Services staff will be available to offer guidance, answer queries and advise on completing budget plans within the Access Budgeting software, ensuring delegates leave with greater clarity and practical understanding.
