Settings & Usage

How to configure Parent Portal settings to control guardian access and how to manage and monitor guardian sign-ups and portal usage within Arbor.

Logging in as a Guardian

How staff can log in as a guardian to preview the Parent Portal or troubleshoot issues, including managing permissions and correct logout procedures.

Pupil Dashboard

Guides you on managing guardian access to payment accounts and enabling guardians to book consultations, clubs, and trips through the Parent Portal and app.

Communication Templates

Find out what communication templates are available to help you communicate with parents/guardians.

Managing Absence

This section explains how guardians can submit same-day absences via the Parent Portal and how school staff can review, manage and approve absence requests.

  • Invoice bookings must be made by a designated Booking Manager for your school or setting
  • The school or setting must be approved to pay by invoice with HFL Education

Card Payment

Available to anyone booking on behalf of a school or setting who wishes to pay by card.

Pay by Card
  • £60 including 20% VAT
  • Booking should be made by the attendee account
  • If booking multiple places, the booking should be made by the designated Booking Manager for the school / setting
