About this subscription
This is the lower school version of this subscription and includes all year groups from Reception to Year 4 including Mixed Age. We also offer alternative subscriptions for Small Schools, Primary Schools, Infant Schools and Junior Schools.
We are passionate about developing both children and teachers’ knowledge, motivation and confidence in the craft of writing.
The ESSENTIALWRITING curriculum is an ambitious and progressive writing scheme, hooked in with high-quality literature. It is fully aligned with the key messages in the writing framework and designed to give teachers subject knowledge, pedagogical tools and strategies to teach children how to write for specific purposes and authentic audiences. As a result, children feel inspired and ready to write high-quality outcomes.
Through our ESSENTIALWRITING curriculum, designed for Reception to Year 6, we provide teachers with the subject knowledge, tools and resources to effectively teach children how to write. Children are motivated and empowered to write purposefully and to self-identify as volitional writers.
