A cost effective, full-day, face-to-face, cross-curricular INSET day for primary teaching staff
This event is a fabulous opportunity for schools to come together for their September INSET to receive high quality training on key aspects of primary education. This is a unique chance to attend a full day of face-to-face training as an entire teaching staff, and have access to a range of incredible speakers across the day. Let us take the strain - relax, enjoy, and fire up your knowledge and enthusiasm for the year ahead.
The event will be held at the Hertfordshire Development Centre in Stevenage and the programme will include:
- keynotes from our subject specialist English and mathematics advisers
- a special guest appearance from Bob Cox, award-winning writer of the ‘Opening Doors’ series of books
- workshops on reading, phonics, spelling, oracy, mathematics, Early Years, assessment, foundation subjects, curriculum planning, sequencing and accelerating the progress of disadvantaged learners
Delegates will benefit from access to up to date, relevant CPD which can be chosen according to requirements. The training will allow schools to develop key areas, and to consider positive impact on pupil outcomes over the year.

Lunch will be provided.
There will be a limited number of workspaces available to rent for the final hour of the day, should schools / leadership teams which to stay and consider implementation. These will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
