How can we engage parents and enable them to support their children’s maths learning?
This online CPD allows schools to work at their own pace, accessing the resources, materials and videos.
We know that the support of parents can make a difference to children’s success in maths and building an effective parent partnership is valuable.
There are many models and ways to engage parents and to help them support their children at home. During this online course, we enable reflection on current provision and support delegates to make choices about the best way to engage and support parents.
The course includes easy-to-implement ideas and materials for each year group which could be used as part of home learning straight away. Further materials that could be used and adapted for parent sessions, for example on play-based mathematical learning with younger children and learning multiplication tables, is also included.
