About this course

HCC maintained schools are required to submit their year-end returns to HCC. This course will take delegates through the process, start to finish, of how to ensure that they have considered all financial accruals in order to submit an accurate financial year-end. 

Training Objectives

• to understand the need for accruals
• to understand the difference between creditors, debtors, prepayments and receipts in advance
• to be able to compile a comprehensive set of accurate year-end accruals ready for import to the finance system
