Automated reporting using Microsoft Excel and SIMS - eLearning

About this course

Repeating arduous tasks when reporting on raw data or data exported from SIMS reports when the output does not suit the needs of the user can be something of the past using Microsoft Excel.

Training Objectives

• to understand how macros can be used automate processes in order to produce an output
• to understand the differences between reporting data manually and using macros with particular reference to reporting in SIMS
• to be able to create report data in CSV format
• to be able use macros in Microsoft Excel in order to integrate automation into a SIMS report
• to be able use macros in Microsoft Excel in order output raw data (not necessarily from a SIMS report) in an automated fashion
