About this course

This training course has been produced in two sections for ease of reference:

1. Advanced reporting using Microsoft Power BI - the essentials
2. Advanced reporting using Microsoft Power BI - the next level

During these recordings, we will aim to demonstrate how to export and run some basic dashboards and exploring some of the key features. We will then move on to creating some more advanced dashboards where we can pull data from different sources as well SIMS to create some meaningful easy to view data.

Accessible anytime, anywhere (with an internet connection), play, pause, and rewind and replay the content as required, to enhance the learning experience.

Training Objectives

• to understand the basic functionally of Microsoft Power BI
• to be able to import, manipulate and search different type of data into Microsoft Power BI from SIMS
• to be able to create graphical output from the data imported using Microsoft Power BI dashboards
• to be able to use Microsoft Power BI to gather information to compare against different sources e.g. schools in a MAT
• understand how using Microsoft Power BI can be used to effectively report on large amounts of data from different sources
• to be able to navigate freely using the Microsoft Power BI software and understand the different product offerings with the use of Microsoft Power BI
