Understanding the role of the data protection officer (DPO)

About this course

This webinar will look at some of the major challenges schools face with data protection.

This course will be split into two parts, the first part will be a series of bitesize modules that are all pre-recorded covering the roles and responsibilities of the DPO for monitoring compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and managing internal data protection activities. A link to access these modules will be sent to delegates one week prior to the second part which will be a live webinar looking at some of the major challenges schools face with data protection and give delegates the chance to ask questions and share their own experiences.

Delegates will be able to access the pre-recorded bitesize modules prior to the live Q&A session 1 week prior to the event date.


Please note: delegates are required to complete the pre-recorded modules in advance of the live Q&A session.
