Fire safety and fire risk assessment training - schools only

About this course

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the fire risk assessment process and key hazards , risks and controls within schools. With practical advice on the completion of the school’s fire risk assessment.  

Please note this training is run by Hertfordshire County Council and has differing booking conditions from the Herts for Learning terms and conditions: bookings cancelled within four weeks of the course date will be charged at full price (unless a replacement is found) - bookings will be charged at full rate for non-attendees.

Learning outcomes

By attending the course, participants will: 

• understand the key fire hazards and risks within school settings
• be able to undertake / review your fire risk assessment in simple school buildings 
• gain greater understanding of the key elements of fire safety management
