Small Schools’ Programme – Full Programme

This programme of half termly briefings, including bite sized training and follow-up discussion groups, is designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of small school leaders. Including case-studies shared by those at the chalkface and time to discuss the thought-processes and decisions made. Written to inform and support, but with the focus on small schools making the right decisions for their setting.

Launching in February 2024, and running throughout the year, this programme will provide leaders with the opportunity to listen to a range of speakers from across a number of specialisms, with a different area in focus each half term. Each session will include briefings about the main areas for leaders to consider followed by case studies delivered by colleagues working in and with small schools. The briefings will also include an opportunity to join a virtual discussion group and explore the themes raised in greater detail.
