Herts Voices: Gary Younge Talk

About this course:

Join us for a Herts Voices school talk on Wednesday 29th November with Gary Younge, 10am at Peartree Spring Primary School.

Gary Younge is an author, journalist and broadcaster who was raised in Stevenage in the 1980s.  His talk will be about his life, experiences and the choices he has made which have led to positive change. 

Why attend this talk?

• Pupils will hear from an inspirational figure raised in Stevenage
• Pupils can make links to biographical and autobiographical work
• Pupils can learn about local history and significant people
• Pupils will be able to make connections to the PSHE curriculum

Each primary school/setting that registers can bring a group of 16 pupils to the talk and 2 members of staff.

Places are free but limited.

The closing date for booking your place at this talk is Monday 13th November 2023. Schools who attend are expected to use a HFL Education resource to introduce their pupils to Gary Younge which will enable them to engage with the talk and ask relevant questions.
