SEND provision mapping and management workshop

About this course

In response to feedback from the Hertfordshire’s SEND Benchmarking & Planning Tool, this workshop provides SENCOs with an overview of the principles of effective provision mapping and provision management techniques. It will provide an opportunity for delegates to evaluate the current use of provision maps in their setting and to strengthen their provision management processes.

The session will also be an opportunity for SENCOs to share examples of how provision maps are working in their own settings.  Delegates should be ready to share examples of provision maps that they are currently using.

• clarify the key principles underpinning mapping and managing provision
• discuss why provision mapping and management is both an essential day to day and strategic activity for SENCOs
• explore different ways to develop provision maps
