Exploring technology in the EYFS

About this course 

This course is designed to support EYFS staff in providing exploration and learning opportunities around technology. It will provide innovative approaches, which can be used to engage children’s interest, not just using technology, but also developing a curiosity about how that technology works.

The course aims to support EYFS teaching staff in providing an essential foundation for the primary computing curriculum. It will provide a wide range of ideas for resources and activities for your setting.

Learning outcomes

• develop understanding of supporting young children in exploring technology safely and creatively
• develop confidence in providing a good foundation for children in accessing the primary computing curriculum
• understand how to augment areas of learning with technology

Additional Information

It is not essential but if you can have an iPad with you, with the ability to download apps, you will then be able to explore the apps being demonstrated.
