About this course:
This in-person cluster will
provide Year 6 teachers with the opportunity to hear key messages arising from
the external moderations that took place in the summer, to explore standards
and expectations in writing, and to work together with colleagues, analysing
where their pupils are currently attaining and identifying gaps and next steps.
We recommend that teachers bring evidence of writing for 2 pupils from
their class – typically, one who is targeted to achieve the Expected Standard
at the end of KS2, and one who is targeted to be Working at Greater Depth.
Further information will be sent to delegates in advance of the session.
Please note, we are also offering online clusters for Year 6 teachers if
this is more convenient.
