ESSENTIALWRITING is an ambitious and progressive writing curriculum for Year 1 to Year 6, using high-quality literature. The curriculum has been designed to support teachers’ subject knowledge and provide pedagogical tools and strategies to teach children how to write for specific purposes and authentic audiences. This motivates and empowers children to write purposefully and to self-identify as volitional writers.
Subscribing schools will receive access to guidance documents, long-term overviews and a full suite of unit planning and resources. Content will be released half termly throughout the year.
To purchase your ESSENTIALWRITING subscription, please add your required number of licences to the basket and complete the checkout process. Schools can allocate licences to teachers after checkout or keep some unallocated and add throughout the year.
This junior school subscription includes single-age plans & resources for Years 3 through to Year 6, with guidance for mixed-age classrooms.
