As a subject leader, you understand how important a clear, strategic vision for your writing curriculum is. This training will support you with navigating the plethora of useful materials within ESSENTIAL writing and weave these into your school’s curriculum. It will also allow you to clearly understand the nature of both the long and short-term mapping and progression of skills, knowledge and high-quality texts. Effective monitoring of your new curriculum will be covered, as well as key pedagogical approaches which you will want to share with staff in school.
