Autumn 2024 Secondary Mathematics Update

About this course:

This online webinar is an opportunity to keep updated on the latest information of interest to Maths departments and Maths teachers.

Topics to be covered will include:

• updates and feedback from GCSEs, ‘A’-levels and Key Stage 2 SATs;
• implications for current Year 7, 11 and 13 students;
• arrangements for summer exams in 2025
• overview of support/opportunities available in the year ahead;  and
• all other news/developments of interest to Mathematics education professionals.

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate through question and answer.

Learning outcomes:

• Feedback from the test/exam results from Key Stages 2, 4 and 5;
• Clear idea of what lies ahead for learners currently in Years 11 and 13, and how to prepare them for it;
• Identify specific areas where Maths departments may address progress and intervention;

Additional information:

The event will mainly focus on KS4, but there will be some content relevant to KS3 and (particularly) KS5.
