Develop successful whole class guided reading in KS2

About this course

This live webinar is designed and led by expert practitioners, who will support you in developing effective teaching of whole class guided reading at Key Stage Two. You will explore a range of approaches that allow for full access, participation and enjoyment for all pupils in guided reading teaching and intervention, and how these engaging sessions fit within a rich reading diet.

Through use of high-quality literature, we will support you to develop effective and authentic questioning to promote discussion and engagement, whilst building fluency, stamina and a love of reading. These dialogic approaches will focus on the development of vocabulary, explore inference as an outcome and lead to improved comprehension.
