Monitoring and evaluating learning in your foundation subject(s)

About this course:

Part of our range of CPD for subject leaders and senior leaders focusing on the curriculum in your school.

Subject leaders often carry out monitoring activities (such as learning walks, pupil voice, work scrutiny). This course focuses on how and when these might be carried out so that they gain good quality information and impact positively on the quality of teaching and learning across the school.

Thinking about your foundation subject(s):

  • What should we be monitoring and evaluating?
  • What are the range of tools we might use to do this?
  • How and when might we use the tools to monitor and evaluate?
  • Importantly, what might we do with what we find out?

We will start from our curriculum mapping and progression documents, as these guide us in the content of the learning including the knowledge and skills we are looking to see pupils develop and articulate.

Delegates will be given guidance and explore tools for monitoring and evaluating learning across their school.

Whether you are a subject leader, overall curriculum leader or senior leader, this session will support you to consider the best ways to monitor and evaluate the learning in non-core subjects in your school.

 The 2-hour webinar is £59 per delegate
