Year-end preparation for Gold contracts

About this course

This course will provide school staff with a comprehensive overview of the year-end process. Delegates will be taken through:  

• bulletins for 2025/2026 including a detailed look at the housekeeping bulletin 
• preparation of year-end accruals 
• consideration of year-end committed balances 
• monthly/year-end comprehensive system reconciliation 
• year-end bank reconciliation

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:  

• understand the year-end process 
• prepare the school’s financial data/finance system for year-end 
• prepare a complete set of accruals for year-end 
• prepare committed balances 
• be ready for the Financial Services year-end visit
