About this course
These in-person moderation clusters will provide Year 2 teachers with the opportunity to hear key assessment messages, explore standards and expectations in writing and to work together with colleagues, analysing where their children are currently attaining and identifying gaps and next steps. We recommend that teachers bring evidence of writing for at least 3 children from their class – including, if possible, one who is targeted to achieve the Expected Standard at the end of the year, one who is targeted to be Working at Greater Depth and any other that teachers would find useful to discuss. Further information will be sent to delegates in advance of the session.

- clear understanding of their own children’s current attainment and areas to focus on in teaching
