Working with babies and toddlers

About this course

This course will explore the research of brain development and the care of babies and toddlers. We will consider what best practice in the baby room looks like and the development needs of babies. Working with babies is a unique position and we will look at what an enabling environment, both physically and emotionally, should look like for this age group.

Learning outcomes

• caring for under twos and their developmental needs
• explore the prime areas and their importance in the baby room
• review how to provide an enabling environment for babies
