The Big Staff Meeting Series 2025-26 - SEND 2
- Promoting access to high quality teaching through effective deployment of TAs
Teaching assistants play a vital role in schools, offering strong support to the school community and strengthening inclusive practice. During this session staff will have an opportunity to reflect on updated research on effective deployment of teaching assistants to enhance the learning and engagement of children with SEND as part of ordinarily available provision. Staff will explore the importance of aligning intervention with class-based provision to maximise outcomes and how teachers can maintain responsibility for all children.
This session can be viewed as a standalone training event or as part of a series of three SEND focused Big Staff Meetings, or purchased as part of the wider series.
