The Big Staff Meeting Series 2025-26 - SEND 1

- Promoting inclusion through adaptations to the mainstream curriculum for learners with SEND

Creating an inclusive classroom where clear and ambitious expectations are set, ensures that all children, including those with SEND can achieve and thrive. During this session staff will have an opportunity to explore updated research on the importance of scaffolding learning, as part of ordinarily available provision. Staff will develop an understanding of practical strategies to scaffold learning in the mainstream classroom, promoting active engagement in learning for all, particularly learners with SEND.

This session can be viewed as a standalone training event or as part of a series of three SEND focused Big Staff Meetings or purchased as part of the wider series.
