-  consider how the most recent research can be incorporated into everyday practice to provide a nurturing and safe space for infants

-  learn how to support parents understanding of the importance of early experiences through maintaining strong partnerships.

Learning outcomes

• to understand what a positive learning environment can look like for children under the age of two
• to understand the latest research into safe sleeping, professional love and weaning and how this can be used in the setting
• how to work with parents to add value to children’s experiences
• how to use information gathering and organisation to ensure the needs of the children are being met
