About this course
'The baby room in action' is a course designed for those who wish to learn more about how to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for the youngest children in your care. This training will delve into aspects of working with babies, such as safe sleep, weaning, professional love, the physical environment and working with parents and provide inspiration to those both new to or experienced in working with infants.
Learning outcomes
- to understand what a positive learning environment can look like for children under the age of two
- how to use information gathering and organisation to ensure the needs of the children are being met
- to understand the latest research into safe sleeping, professional love and safer eating and how this can be used in the setting
- how to work with parents to add value to children’s experiences
