About this course
What does quality first teaching in the EYFS mean to you? How do you ensure that all practitioners provide high-quality, inclusive teaching which improves outcomes for all children? This two-part course will help teachers and practitioners in the EYFS to reflect on their practice to ensure that they are providing the very best for all children in their care. Areas of focus will include: the development of high-quality teaching in adult-led learning, child-initiated learning (CIL) and effective continuous provision in an enabling environment.
Learning outcomes
- an improved understanding of quality first teaching in the EYFS and how to meet the needs of all children
- strategies to develop ‘thinking for learning’
- explore ways to build strong foundations for learning and development
- effectively support and develop learning through play
Additional information
Delegates should allow time in advance of the training to complete the pre-course reading and tasks. These will be sent during the first half of the autumn term. Delegates must have access to a camera and microphone to ensure effective participation in the sessions.
