SIMS for Senco’s

About this course

This course will show you how to utilise the full functionality of the SEN area in SIMS to support the effective and efficient use in relation to the SEND Code of Practice.  How relevant SEN data can be shared with teaching staff and records kept up to date to reflect events which have occurred in the setting.

Learning Outcomes

• confidently navigate around SIMS  
• set up the SEN Module in SIMS
• amend lookups relating to the SEN area
• add a comprehensive record for an SEN student
• attach relevant documents to pupil records
• run reports to extract data relating to the SEN area
