About this course
This is the primary pathway version of this eLearning course.
This e-learning course will explore inclusive teaching strategies to enable all learners - especially those with SEND - to thrive and flourish within the science mainstream classroom.
It provides theory and practical examples of how evidence-based adaptive teaching strategies can be used to support learners with SEND to overcome barriers to learning and access the science curriculum.
Available as a primary or secondary pathway, the training comprises of six videos with accompanying resources focused on:

Flexible grouping
Technology
Learning outcomes
Through completion of this course delegates will:
- Develop the skills to explore the needs of learners in the science classroom.
- Increase understanding and awareness of evidence-based adaptive teaching strategies.
- Know how to effectively implement adaptive teaching strategies to support learners to overcome their barriers to learning in science.
In addition, subject leaders and SENCOs will have:
- Videos and resources to deliver high quality CPD for all teaching staff including teaching assistants.
