Nursery School/Class budget preparation workshop

About this course

This workshop will start with an overview of Early Years funding. We will look at an example of a finance schedule from the Early Years portal and how to apply this to the Financial Service’s nursery calculator. The workshop will go through examples of nursery funding adjustments using the nursery calculator and explain how to calculate adjustments without using the nursery calculator enabling a sense check of Early Years budgeting.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to: 

• understand the principles of Early Years funding
• use the nursery calculator
• sense check the Early Years budget and adjustments at their school/setting
