New to Early Years - an introduction to the EYFS Statutory Framework

About this course

For those new or returning to the Early Years workforce, this course will support delegates to have a greater understanding of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and how this relates to the day-to-day practice within Early Years schools and settings.

Learning outcomes

• to introduce the Statutory Framework for the EYFS
• to understand the learning and development requirements
• to gain an overview of assessment requirements in supporting children’s learning
• to become familiar with the safeguarding and welfare requirements
