About this course
This 2-hour webinar will support primary music subject leaders and teachers of music with ensuring that their curriculum is well-sequenced and meets the needs of the school’s context. Focusing on how to lead and teach music across a primary school, we will also pick up key themes such as the interrelated dimensions of music, to ensure that these are woven into the curriculum. As well as being a forum for discussion, sharing good practice and exploring curriculum approaches, we will also use key documents such as the Ofsted subject report and ‘The power of music to change lives: a national plan for music education’. Delegates will be able to use the content to support teachers within their own school. For delegates who are not able to attend the live webinar, a recording will be available shortly afterwards, along with the supporting materials.
