This is Module 4: Supporting literacy and maths in everyday practice
· What literacy and maths looks like as part of an early years curriculum
· Explore your role in providing teaching opportunities to support children’s understanding of literacy and maths
· Practical ideas for embedding literacy and maths into the rhythms and routines of the day
Each module allows you to explore your role in greater detail supporting your practice along the way with reflective tasks. Using a wide range of engaging learning styles, participants can learn at their own pace in a way that suits them best.
Each module contains a “Learning into Practice” activity, designed to support you apply the learning within your setting. There is also a printable “Reflective Journal” to guide your note-taking and reflections while working through the content.
