Effective Safeguarding Training for School Heads/Designated Safeguarding Leads and Safeguarding Governors

This training is run by Hertfordshire County Council and VAT is not added to these bookings.

In response to local and national needs Hertfordshire County Council, in conjunction with HFL Education, will be delivering the next round of safeguarding training for school leaders. Following on from the success of previous years, our next round of training is scheduled to take place in the Autumn Term 2024.

Safeguarding is always at the forefront of leaders’ minds. It is crucial to keep an eye on national and local changes. These sessions will provide updates on both, providing delegates with the opportunity to consolidate their existing understanding as well as reflect on changes to procedures and guidance.

There will be two half day sessions on Friday 29 November held in the Oak Room, Herts Development Centre.

Please note that either your Chair of Governors or your Safeguarding Governor should attend
