Early Years leadership annual programme

Venue (Sessions 3 and 4): Hertfordshire Development Centre, Stevenage

About this course

This 6-part programme is aimed at all Early Years Leaders in PVI settings and schools and who wish to learn more about their leadership role and the impact that can be made. This course will include 4 sessions delivered via webinar and 2 sessions delivered during one full-day face-to-face session. 

The sessions are as follows: 

Session 1 – You as a leader

Session 2 – Curriculum, pedagogy, and culture

Session 3 and 4 (face-to-face) – Your team and wellbeing

Session 5 – Co-ordinating quality

Session 6 – Leading forward

Learning outcomes

• to reflect on your role as a leader
• to consider how you devise, embed and work on the vision of the provision
• how to deal with change, conflict and people management
• the importance of supporting wellbeing
• the monitoring of quality practice
• how to continually reflect and drive forward change
